WardrobeReviewing Your Wardrobe

Reviewing Your Wardrobe

The wardrobe review takes you through your clothes one at a time so you can decide what stays. Nothing is deleted: anything you let go is archived, and you can restore it later.

Who Can Use It

The review is included in the free pass, the free trial and a paid subscription. It is a Wardrowbe Cloud feature; the self-hosted open-source edition is a separate project and doesn’t include it.

Opening the Review

On the web, press “Review wardrobe” at the top of the wardrobe page. The analytics page also has a “Review wardrobe” button in its “Never Worn” card when you have items you haven’t worn.

What You Are Shown

The review shows every item that has finished tagging, isn’t archived and hasn’t been decided yet. Items you wear least come first: fewest wears, then items never worn or worn longest ago, then the oldest additions. Each card shows when you added the item and when you last wore it, or “Never worn”.

Items that are still being tagged, or whose tagging failed, can’t be reviewed. If none of your items are ready, the review says so; to let go of a failed item, archive it from its item details instead.

Deciding

Each item gets one of three answers:

ButtonWhat happens
KeepThe item stays and doesn’t come back to the review.
Not sureThe item stays and comes back to the review after 90 days.
Let goYou are asked “Why are you letting it go?” and the item moves to your archive.

The reason is optional: choose “Donated”, “Sold”, “Doesn’t fit”, “Worn out” or “Other”, or press “Skip”. The reason is kept with the archived item.

On the web you can also use the keyboard: K to keep, U for not sure, L to let go.

Undo

After each answer, a message with an “Undo” button appears. Undo on “Keep” or “Not sure” puts the item back in the review; undo on “Let go” restores the item from the archive.

When You’re Done

When everything has been reviewed, you see “You’re all caught up” with a count of what you kept, weren’t sure about and let go in this session. Items you weren’t sure about come back in a few months.

Outfit suggestions need at least two items. If letting go leaves you with fewer, the review warns you that suggestions stop until you add or restore some.

Mobile: Open the review from the “Review wardrobe” icon button at the top of the wardrobe tab. It works the same way, with an “Undo” button on the screen.
