Item Wear History

Individual items have their own wear history showing every date the item was worn. This is accessible from the item detail view.

Wear Timeline

The wear history panel inside item details shows a reverse-chronological timeline of wear dates. Each entry shows the date and, where available, a link to the outfit it was part of.

This lets you see patterns like:

  • How often you wear a particular item.
  • Whether you tend to wear it in certain seasons.
  • The last time you wore it.

Total Wear Count

The total wear count is shown prominently at the top of the item detail view. This is the cumulative count across all logged wears.

Last Worn with Color Coding

The “last worn” date is color-coded throughout the app to give a quick visual signal:

  • Green: Worn within the last 1-2 weeks. The item is in regular rotation.
  • Amber: Worn 2-6 weeks ago. You haven’t worn it recently but it’s not forgotten.
  • Red: Not worn in over 6 weeks. The item is being flagged as neglected.

This color coding appears on wardrobe grid cards, in item detail views, and in the Analytics section.

Wear Frequency

The item detail view also shows approximate wear frequency: how many times per month on average this item has been worn since it was added. Items added recently won’t have stable frequency data until they’ve been in the wardrobe for several weeks.

Manual Wear Logs

If you wore an item but it wasn’t part of a tracked outfit suggestion, you can add a manual wear log from the item detail view using the “Log Wear” button. You can specify the date, so you can backfill wears from before you started using the app.
