A digital wardrobe app that tags every piece for you.

Wardrowbe turns photos of your clothes into a digital wardrobe you can search, filter and dress from. Photograph one garment, or several at once on a bed, a rail or yourself; Wardrowbe finds each piece, you check what it found, and AI tags its type, colour, pattern, material, style and formality.

Photo capture and AI tagging are on the free pass for 15 items, with no card. The 14-day trial and Cloud plans remove the item limit.

How it works

Several pieces, one photo

Finding the garments in a photo usually takes under a minute, and nothing is added until you confirm.

  1. Step 01

    Photograph your clothes

One garment per photo, or several together: an outfit in a mirror, clothes laid out flat or hanging on a rail.

  2. Step 02

    Check what it found

Each garment shows as its own crop, all ticked. Untick anything that isn't yours and fix a type that's wrong before you add.

  3. Step 03

    Tagged and added

Every piece you keep becomes its own item and AI fills in the rest. A garment already in your wardrobe is skipped.

What gets tagged

Every piece, described for you

These are the details Wardrowbe's outfit suggestions, gap report and filters read, so you never type them in by hand. You can change any of them later on the item.

Questions

Asked about adding clothes

Can I add several clothes from one photo?

Yes. Choose Several items when you add clothes, and photograph an outfit, a flat lay or a rail. Wardrowbe shows each garment it found, and nothing is added until you confirm. Pressing Add items twice adds nothing twice.

How many clothes can I add for free?

The free pass covers 15 items with no card. Each garment you keep counts as one, so a photo with three garments uses three, and ones you untick use nothing. The free pass also limits how many several-item photos you can upload. The 14-day trial and Cloud plans remove both limits.

What does the AI tag on each piece?

Type and subtype, colours, pattern, material, style, formality and season. Outfit suggestions and the gap report read these tags.

Can I fix a tag the AI got wrong?

Yes. Change a garment's type in the review before you add it, and the type you choose is kept. Any other detail can be changed later on the item.

Is there an Android app?

The Android app is a closed beta on Google Play. The web app at app.wardrowbe.com works in the browser on any Android phone, and the iOS app is on the App Store.

Can I self-host my digital wardrobe?

Yes. The self-hosted open source edition has AI tagging with one garment per photo and no item caps. Finding several garments in one photo is a Wardrowbe Cloud feature.

What happens to the photo I upload?

A several-item photo is only used to find the garments. Once you add your items or start over, the photo and any crops you didn't keep are deleted, and anything left behind is removed within a day.
